PeopleSoft Finance Upgrade
The university is beginning a two year effort to upgrade its financial and business intelligence systems. The effort will move UF from the current 8.4 version to version 9.0 of PeopleSoft. As part of the upgrade, business process improvements will be implemented resulting in a more effective and efficient ERP system.
Dr. Mike Conlon, the PeopleSoft Implementation Officer, will coordinate the upgrade activities of campus, the core offices and Bridges. Work groups were formed for Travel, Purchasing, Assets, Accounting and Grants. To volunteer for one of the planning work groups, please send a note to Ms. Brenda Stevens, indicating the work group you wish to serve on, and your qualifications. Your name will be placed on a waiting list and you will be contacted if a seat becomes available.
