How do I report my time?
Most employees will be entering their own time and leave by navigating to
My Self-Service > Time Reporting area in the myUFL Menu. Non-exempt employees
will use either Web Clock or Weekly Punch Time to record time worked, depending
on which option is chosen by the department. Eligible exempt USPS employees
also enter any hours worked in excess of 40 to earn the regular compensatory
time.

How do I know what method (i.e., Web Clock
or Weekly Punch Time) my college or department chose?
You will see all the options available on the myUFL menu. Your department
or college will tell you which one they want you to use.
Do all employees in the same department
have to use the same method?
It is recommended that entire groups use the same reporting method. However,
there may be some exceptions. For example, if some employees in your group
are off-site and do not have access to a computer, they can use a time card.
The rationale for being consistent within groups is to avoid disparate treatment
of employees.
How do I report my leave?
Exempt TEAMS or Academic Personnel (faculty) employees will only need to
enter their leave usage. Navigating to My Self-Service > Time Reporting
> Report Weekly Elapsed Time.
How do I Report Special Compensatory Leave?
TEAMS non-exempt and USPS employees are eligible for special compensatory
leave, which is accrued as a result of working additional hours in the same
workweek as a holiday (or taking certain types of administrative leave).
Refer to the Reporting Special Compensatory Leave guide for more detail.
How does my time and leave get approved?
There will be an option on the myUFL menu called "Manager Self Service"
for those who have the "time approver" role. These approvers (usually supervisors)
will check here on a regular basis for leave requests, compensatory time
issues, and to make corrections or approve time. Manager Self Service will
be available on June 18.
Who is responsible for making changes to
my time in the new system?
You can make a change to your time record, which will need to be approved
by your supervisor again. Payroll processors and supervisors do have the
ability to change your time but it is not recommended.
Is there going to be a cut-off time for
requesting leave in the new system?
No. The system will allow you to request leave at any time. However, it
highly likely (and highly recommended) that your college and/or department
have an internal policy regarding this and other related matters.
Are there any training resources for Time
Approvers?
Yes. Narrated video web tutorials are currently available on the myUFL
toolkits pages. It is recommended that Approvers view the tutorials prior
to attending classroom training.
